Biomechanical Assessments

A biomechanical examination is looking at how your lower limbs operate and looking for any issues or possible causes for discomfort in your foot, ankle knee, back and ankle.

Some of these investigations consist of:
  • Tests of muscles
  • Evaluation of the range of motion
  • Static standing assessment
  • Walking gait analysis
  • The evaluation of running is done when the running time is specific

Ian’s Podiatry Centre uses video treadmill analysis to measure your speed as well as the distance that you walk or run. The software specifically designed allows videos that show slow-motion feedback. It shows the ankles’ movements as well as your hips and feet as well as hips and knees. There are any unusual gait patterns.

Through our thorough evaluations, we’ll be able to quickly and efficiently find the most suitable treatments available to you.
